The celebrations for the 211th anniversary of the founding of the Carabinieri took place yesterday in all five Calabrian provinces. Different events, each with their own territorial and cultural peculiarities, but united by a strong spirit of belonging to the Institution.
Beyond the numbers and the traditional ceremonial structure, which gives the image of an efficient and solid Corps, the most heartfelt and highlighted themes were those of gratitude and recognition. Gratitude towards those who sacrificed their lives in the fulfillment of duty, towards the families who support us every day, and towards all the Carabinieri who, with discretion and a spirit of service, work daily alongside citizens, making the presence of the Corps tangible in the territory.
This is the essence of the Corps' style: a silent but concrete commitment, made up of shared values and service to the community. It is on these foundations that SIM Carabinieri Calabria is committed to building and consolidating its work.
The approximately 50 regional managers whom I have the honor of coordinating offer, every day, support and listening to the 1,500 members and brothers in arms, without clamor, without seeking the spotlight, but with determination and a spirit of service, for an overall improvement in the working conditions of these valiant servants of the State.
