NOT ON SATURDAY BUT ON WEDNESDAY!
Wednesday, June 18, 2025, not the usual Saturday, marks the return of the monthly Cura d'Arte event at the Museo del Rock in Catanzaro. An event that promises to stimulate the mind and heart, taking you on a journey between reality and imagination.
This sixth and final meeting before the summer break will be a deep and fascinating exploration entitled "Dream or am I awake?". A universal theme that has inspired artists, thinkers, and dreamers of every era, and will be the common thread of an evening full of insights and performances.
Let yourself be inspired by the different facets of this theme through the voices and passions of the speakers:
Elisa Chiriano will not only introduce but guide the entire event, creating a harmonious path through the different sections of the evening.
Piergiorgio Caruso, the host and soul of the Museo del Rock, will take you on a journey with a curated selection of iconic musical pieces that have drawn from the vast universe of dreams and the unconscious.
Antonella Pascuzzo will reveal the secrets and hidden messages behind a work of art, showing you how art can be a mirror of our nightly visions.
Daniela Pietragalla will lead you into the heart of the theme through the pages of a novel, demonstrating how literature can explore the depths of our most intimate "dream".
Salvo Venuto, theater actor, will give voice to poems that skillfully dance between dream and reality, reciting verses that will resonate with your most intimate experiences.
Giovanni Audino will introduce us to a visual and narrative world, choosing a graphic novel that, through images and words, will explore the nuances between what is tangible and what is only imagined.
Journalist Roberta Cricelli will explore the theme by interpreting it in different poetic nuances, in view of the awards ceremony for the “Calabria in Versi” competition, promoted by the Culturale Calabria Contatto association.
Entry is scheduled for 5:45 pm, with the event starting at 6:00 pm.
