Recognition for shared leadership and the authentic values of Rotary
CATANZARO – 14 JUNE 2025. The Rotary Club Catanzaro Tre Colli, which has been active in the city of Catanzaro for over 20 years, proudly and with emotion, announces that Vincenzo Defilippo, founding member and dean, has been elected Governor of District 2102 Calabria for the Rotary year 2027-2028.
This prestigious recognition rewards not only his long and consistent commitment within Rotary, but also a vision of service based on full availability, sharing, and active participation in the life of the Club and District by a “member – declares President Giuseppe Caputo – who has always contributed, with selflessness and innate generosity, to giving substance to actions aimed at the common good.”
Vincenzo Defilippo, in fact, has always represented, in his Rotary service as well as in his professional life – it should be remembered that he is the regional President of Federfarma – a model of collective and inclusive leadership, capable of inspiring and involving others.
A respected professional, pharmacist, and entrepreneur strongly connected to the Calabrian territory, Defilippo has brought to his Rotary experience the values of integrity and social responsibility, demonstrating a strong bond with his community. His style of service is deeply rooted in the belief that Rotary should be not only a place for planning, but also a space for personal and collective growth, where ethics and education are the cardinal points.
In his first message as Governor Designate, delivered during the District Congress held in Tropea from June 13 to 15, he stated:
"I am available for authentic and constructive collaboration, based on active listening, on full and concrete sharing to undertake work whose foundations are ethical references, educational learning, and the passion with which I have always lived my Rotary, professional, and human activities."
Words that strongly summarize the vision of a Rotary that looks to the future by putting the person, dialogue, and the value of service rendered with competence, humility, and team spirit at the center.
