The political and associative landscape of Catanzaro is enriched by a new and significant membership:
Giuseppe Corapi, former president of the group "I Quartieri Catanzaresi", has officially joined the
political movement Nuova Genesi. The decision was made following a productive meeting with
the president of Nuova Genesi, Bruno Gallo, and the vice president, Andrea Critelli.
Corapi's membership highlights a clear desire to move away from political opposition
logics, instead embracing a constructive and territory-oriented approach. "In the city of
Catanzaro, there is no need to do politics against opponents," said Corapi: "Rather, it is necessary
to return to neighborhood politics, to actively listen to citizens, and to develop proposals and
concrete projects for the territory."
This new synergy aims to give new life to an area that, according to Corapi, has been far too
"abandoned by the institutions." The common goal of Nuova Genesi and the group "I Quartieri
Catanzaresi" is to reactivate the social and civic fabric, starting from the real needs of
local communities.
The entry of Giuseppe Corapi into Nuova Genesi represents an important step towards the
construction of a politics closer to the citizens, capable of translating popular demands into
effective actions for the good of Catanzaro.
