After months of intense work and daily commitment, the “Prospettive” project comes to an end, bringing with it the concrete results of a journey that has supported many women in their path out of violence. Promoted by the Mondo Rosa Anti-Violence Center, thanks to the support of the Centro Calabrese di Solidarietà ETS and regional funds from L.R. 20/2007, the project has represented much more than a simple welfare intervention: it has been an active, respectful, and structured accompaniment, built around the real needs of women.
“Prospettive” focused on female empowerment and personal autonomy, relying on two fundamental pillars: direct support for women victims of violence and careful, transparent management of the process. Through listening, individual and group psychological support, job orientation, and training courses, the project has offered concrete tools to regain security, dignity, and independence, giving women back the possibility to choose their own future.
No less important was the network work carried out in synergy with social and health services, law enforcement, and the third sector, demonstrating how essential an integrated approach is to effectively address the phenomenon of gender-based violence.
«With Prospettive – emphasizes Isolina Mantelli, president of the Centro Calabrese di Solidarietà ETS – we wanted to offer women not only protection, but real opportunities. Leaving violence requires accompaniment made of professionalism, empathy, and constant presence, capable of activating resources and networks that remain even after the end of the project.»
The conclusion of Prospettive does not mark an endpoint, but yet another stage in a commitment that the Mondo Rosa Anti-Violence Center carries forward every day: that of supporting women in the difficult, but possible, path of rebirth and self-determination.
