The new digital platform for booking school meals in the Municipality of Catanzaro is now active. The completely renewed service no longer requires downloading a traditional application, but is now accessible via a webapp (https://dema.comunecatanzaro.it/portale/), which can be used directly from the browser of any device, both Android and iOS, simultaneously by both parents.

“The new platform,” explains the Councillor for Digital Transition Vincenzo Costantino, “was created to simplify procedures for families, ensuring more immediate and intuitive access. There will no longer be a need to download apps or updates: with just a few clicks, everything can be managed from a smartphone, tablet, or computer.”

From the webapp it will be possible to: book daily meals, consult the booking history, and receive important communications about the meal service.

The platform has been completed, tested, and put into operation within the scheduled timeframe, and is already operational for the current school year. Families will soon receive all the necessary instructions for accessing the service through the official channels of the Municipality and the schools.

“We have worked to provide a tool that concretely meets the needs of families and the school community,” adds the Councillor for Education, Nunzio Belcaro. “This new booking method is an important step forward, simplifying the daily lives of many parents and making the organization of the meal service more efficient.”
