Tomorrow the Councillor for Labour and Vocational Training of the Calabria Region, Giovanni Calabrese, will speak at the traveling Road Show "No Gender Gap. UNI PdR 125: gender equality in the workplace", which will be held at 11:30 am in the gold room of the Regional Citadel in Catanzaro.

The event is organized by the National Standardization Body, Uni, in collaboration with the Calabria Region-Department of Labour and Fincalabra.

Already 300 Calabrian companies, in just a few weeks, have applied to access support measures for companies to obtain gender equality certification, UNI/PdR 125.

This is a certification aimed at offering concrete solutions and which defines a series of areas to be monitored in order to achieve respect for gender equality in companies and organizations, in terms of governance, welfare, career, pay equity, protection of the parental role, and other aspects.

The following will speak at the event: Elena Mocchio, head of innovation and standardization at UNI, Giovanni Calabrese, councillor for labour policies and vocational training of the Calabria Region, Fortunato Varone, general director of the Labour Department of the Calabria Region, Rosaria Succurro, president of Anci Calabria and the Province of Cosenza, Aldo Ferrara, president of Unindustria Calabria, Pietro Falbo, president of Unioncamere Calabria.

Following this, a talk is scheduled with: Alessandro Zanfino, CEO of Fincalabra, Tonia Stumpo, effective equality councillor of the Calabria Region, Salvatore Barresi, sociologist and economist, Maria Grazia Milone, president of Cia Calabria Centro, Stefania Agosto, president of the Cug Calabria Region.

There will also be space for the stories of Amarelli and Sintegra, through the testimonies of Fortunato Amarelli and Santo Scarpelli.
