A new collaboration agreement for the care and management of the recently redeveloped sports field in the area of the Galati School Complex in Gagliano. This is what was signed between the municipal administration, the head of the Mater domini Nord est Manzoni nord Comprehensive Institute, Giulio Comerci, and the president of Asd Città di Catanzaro Calcio a 5, Danilo Masciari. The initiative is part of the new model of shared administration of public assets that the Municipality of Catanzaro, under the leadership of Mayor Nicola Fiorita, has decided to launch by promoting the direct participation of citizens.

“This agreement will allow, on the one hand, to safeguard the sports field of the Galati complex and, on the other, to bring it to life through the involvement of those who know the area and have long been active in the field of football schools and youth training,” commented city councilor Vincenzo Capellupo at the signing of the agreement, the draft of which was prepared by the heritage department with manager Giovanni Laganà and official Lidia Frustaci. “It is essential, in fact, to enhance a facility that has been returned to use in the best conditions, thanks to the Fattore Campo initiative promoted by BKT and the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie B, with the contribution of the Catanzaro Municipal Administration and the Catanzaro Sports Union. The operational model of the collaboration agreement provides not only for responsibilities related to the custody and cleaning of the facility, but also the possibility of planning sports and social activities that will particularly involve children and young people. By focusing on the synergy and active contribution of the world of schools and associations, we are convinced that the field can be preserved over time and become a point of reference for community gathering in the neighborhood.”
