A morning dedicated to legality, experienced by the young attendees, children aged 8 to 12, of the summer camp organized by the Civil Protection of Cortale entitled “I am also civil protection.”

The gates of the camp, skillfully set up by the civil protection in the large spaces adjacent to the parish oratory, opened and welcomed the Carabinieri of the Girifalco Company, the Girifalco Forestry Unit, and the bomb disposal specialists of the Provincial Command of Catanzaro.

The children were able to attend an outdoor lesson on legality, admiring the flight of the Carabinieri drones, the technical equipment of the bomb disposal experts, and the “gazelles” of the Radiomobile. Among the initiatives, there was a display of Carabinieri helicopter models that captured the attention and generated enthusiasm and curiosity among all present. There were also interventions, questions, and curiosity from the young students.

The morning began with greetings and hands on hearts singing the national anthem, “Il canto degli Italiani.” It ended with laughter, hugs, and great participation from the children.

The Carabinieri have long embarked on a path aimed at spreading the culture of legality through meetings in schools of all levels and in community centers, firmly convinced of the value of the project.

This is only the first event in a series of meetings, in collaboration with the civil protection, that will take place in the province of Catanzaro.

The next event of the initiative will take place in Decollatura (CZ) on July 30th.
