the intense work carried out over two years by the Criminal Chamber was
acknowledged, starting from the particularly incisive cultural commitment
promoted by the magazine "Ante litteram", masterfully directed by Pantaleone
Pallone with the collaboration of Vittorio Ranieri. A young publishing initiative,
launched under the Iacopino Presidency, which has established itself on the
national scene thanks to an illustrious and authoritative scientific committee and
high-level publications, entrusted to the greatest Italian and international jurists.
Furthermore, the intense quality and quantity of the conference activity as well as
the effectiveness of the political activity carried out in various fields, especially in
the prison sector, particularly felt by the outgoing Board, were highlighted.
Equally significant was the activity of the Forensic School, directed by Danilo
Iannello, and of the territorial Observatories, demonstrating an incessant political
commitment, carried out by the Criminal Chamber at the regional and national
territorial level. Then, the appointment of delegates for the Ordinary Congress of
Catania, to be held in September, took place. The assembly appointed Francesco
Iacopino, Orlando Sapia and Antonella Canino. Finally, the members decided to
vote by acclamation for the new Board. The team that will lead the assembly of
