US Catanzaro 1929 announces that it has secured the sporting services of Albanian defender Ervin Bashi. Born in 2005, in the last two seasons he played in Group A of Serie C with Pro Patria, a team where he was able to showcase his qualities. Bashi has signed a contract that will tie him to the yellow and red colors until June 2028. “I am a central defender – he introduces himself to the club's social media channels – but I can also play as a full-back in a three-man defense. My strength is aggressiveness. I am happy to be here because I know this club can help me grow.” Grateful to his former team – “There I matured both as a footballer and as a person” – Bashi shows he already has the right mentality to face the new adventure: “I know Serie B is a tough league, but it doesn't scare me. I am a hard worker and I hope to give my best.” “I am happy to have arrived in Catanzaro – he adds – because everyone has spoken well of it to me. I know the fans are passionate and support you, always allowing you to work with peace of mind.” Finally, the message to the yellow and red fans: “I want to assure you that my teammates and I will fight and give everything for this important shirt. I can't wait to step onto the 'Ceravolo' pitch and experience what will surely be a great emotion.”
