Starting today, the Catanzaro Police Headquarters has the Fullback, a technologically advanced pick-up vehicle equipped for the technical intervention needs of Scientific Police operators during inspections.
The Fullback is a true mobile laboratory, equipped with the most modern technologies and instruments for biological, chemical, physical, and fingerprint surveys. Inside, there is a portable gazebo that will serve as an operational base and all the necessary equipment to collect and preserve traces and fingerprints; personal protective equipment, enhancing powders, forensic lamps, security bags, a fridge-freezer for storing biological evidence, and everything needed to comply with the strict protocols required by quality certification.
This is an effective and efficient mobile workshop that will allow investigators to carry out crime scene reconstruction work in the best possible way, even in particularly complex contexts.
Normally assigned to interregional and regional Police Cabinets, whose headquarters in Calabria is located in the province of Reggio, it has been exceptionally assigned to the Catanzaro Police Headquarters, as strongly requested by Chief Linares due to the importance of the capital in the regional context and the peculiarities of the related territory. Thanks to this new vehicle, the best operational practices for inspections will be ensured throughout the entire province of Catanzaro.
