On August 20 and 21, 2025, Factory Area Festival returns, the event that for five years has enlivened the Calabrian summer with a cutting-edge musical and cultural offering. After the success of previous editions in Soverato and Squillace, Factory Area V is preparing for a new, ambitious challenge: for the first time, the festival will be held in the heart of Catanzaro, in the evocative Terrace of the Monumental Complex of San Giovanni, in collaboration with the Municipality of Catanzaro.
A new setting, four spaces - terrace, cloister, galleries, and exhibition halls - will transform the historic center into a vibrant cultural ecosystem, where music, art, and experimentation merge into a unique experience.
"Welcoming Factory Area Festival to Catanzaro is a choice that moves towards a more lively, inclusive, and culturally contemporary city," says the Councillor for Youth Policies Vincenzo Costantino. "The festival represents an important opportunity to enhance our historic sites and give space to artistic languages capable of speaking to new generations. We are proud to support a project that brings quality, vision, and a strong cultural identity to our city."
The beating heart of Factory Area remains music. On stage, emerging artists and big names from the national and international scene will alternate, including Venerus, Emmanuelle, Bais, Faccianuvola, and Camoufly. Alongside them, a selection of local talents able to showcase the richness of the Calabrian music scene: Emporio, Paola Pizzino, Iondj, and the DJ sets of Fabio Nirta and Roberto Vagliolise, symbols of the contamination and sound experimentation that have always characterized the festival.
Over the years, the Factory Area stage has hosted artists such as Coca Puma, Gemello, Rares, Fuera, and Bruno Belissimo, helping to define a clear, bold, and recognizable musical identity. The 2025 edition confirms and relaunches this vision, establishing Factory Area as one of the most anticipated summer events in Calabria.
