An exciting show that leaves traces in the hearts of those lucky enough to see it. The Luisa Squillacioti dance company celebrates 40 years of career, characterized by professionalism, a tangibly high attention to detail and a deep love for art, family and human relationships, all expressed through singing, choreography and much more! The students, or rather artists, of all ages performed in choreographies that accompanied monologues and Italian and international songs, demonstrating a level of execution that is hard to replicate in Calabria and beyond. Worthy of note were the singing performances of Chiara Piccione, who with elegance and talent was able to win over the audience. The Teatro Comunale di Catanzaro was the ideal stage to celebrate the true Calabria, authentic art and the deepest feelings. Touching choreographies and impeccable organization managed to satisfy all the many attendees, from the oldest to the youngest. A show that was able to exalt the technique, expressive power and above all the creativity of the choreographers, from Manuela Piccione to each protagonist of the event, all under the superb supervision of Luisa Squillacioti: 40 years of activity, professionalism, tours throughout Italy with her prestigious dance company. Students professionally placed in the world of work. Numerous students and dancers who, over the years, have shared the emotions of every choreography, all expertly created by the school director Luisa Squillacioti (longtime choreographer, teacher, video maker, director of the show) and Manuela Piccione (choreographer and teacher). The show retraced the artistic career of the school, showing on the screen the most valuable artistic works of the past and present. The technical level of the students emerged, from the youngest to the oldest, demonstrating the dedication and passion with which this discipline is transmitted. There were choreographies on the most touching social themes such as war, violence against women, loss of loved ones, in particular a choreography dedicated to Valeria Marchese, a passionate student who passed away recently. The municipal theater was full with great approval from the public and critics. The singer Chiara Piccione accompanied the show with her splendid voice, direction and background video naturally curated by Luisa Squillacioti. Among the audience were many former dancers and students of the school. Intense emotions, emotion and chills to celebrate 40 years of work and passion. The event denotes a high and mature artistic level, such that it cannot be defined as a recital, but a show. The dancers of the Company: Daria Ludovico, Marianna Albano, Giada Trapasso, Bianca Grandinetti, Alessia La Greca, Ilary Mazzocca, a special thanks to them and to all the other students of the school. Names, signatures that will be heard from again. Endless applause. They explode in gesture and sound from the most intimate emotions of the audience, enthused by the sacred fire of art: ephemeral and at the same time eternal of the stage.
