Yesterday morning, the provincial President of A.N.VV.F. Dr. Luigi RICCI,
accompanied by a delegation from the Catanzaro board of directors, was received by the
Prefect of Catanzaro, Dr. Castrese De Rosa.
The meeting, characterized by cordial personal and institutional closeness, made it possible to
illustrate the activities in the field of volunteering and the promotion of a culture of safety,
as well as the appreciated and well-known “Pompieropoli,” which brings young people closer to a
path as Junior Firefighters, while at the same time conveying the values of community, sacrifice,
altruism, and respect for rules, which they will treasure as they grow and which the Association
carries out in the area.
There were also moments of discussion about emergency events that have affected the
national territory and our region, in which the Prefect did not fail to emphasize the
esteem, appreciation, and gratitude he has always shown towards the
members of the National Fire Brigade and the association, which is largely made up of fire brigade operators,
supported by new generations of volunteers.
During the meeting, the president and the board members presented Prefect De Rosa with the
official pennant of the section, on behalf of all the members, thanking him for
the attention, interest, and cordiality shown.
