CATANZARO, 13 JUNE 2025 — The Rotary Club Catanzaro Tre Colli has donated two monitors for the remote monitoring of patients’ clinical conditions to the Hematology Department of the “Renato Dulbecco” University Hospital, Pugliese-Ciaccio facility, in Catanzaro, directed by Prof. Marco Rossi, in the presence of the President of the Rotary Club Catanzaro Tre Colli Giuseppe Caputo, accompanied by numerous members, as a testament to the Club’s collective commitment to supporting local healthcare.
The handover ceremony was attended by Prof. Marco Rossi, Director of the Hematology Operating Unit, Medical Director Rosa Costantino, Dr. Giovanna Sanseverino, and chef Francesco Pucci, who collaborated on the initiative together with the Rotary Club.
The donation stems from the Rotary’s desire to respond to the concrete needs of the area and to contribute, in a tangible way, to improving the quality of care. The devices will allow for continuous and remote monitoring of the clinical conditions of vulnerable hematology patients, thus improving the management of therapies and reducing the need for hospital visits.
Alongside its technological value, the initiative also aims to represent a gesture of closeness to those facing delicate therapeutic journeys, offering a concrete sign of solidarity, hope, and attention to the dignity of the person.
