Making the Municipality more accessible and closer to citizens: this is the goal of the new service launched, on an experimental basis, by the municipal administration of Catanzaro.

Starting Tuesday, June 10, 2025, it will be possible to request information about registry services also through WhatsApp, a simple and direct channel that promotes a more immediate relationship between the institution and the citizen. All the service details are available here: https://www.comune.catanzaro.it/anagrafe-su-whatsapp-del-comune-di-catanzaro-funzionamento-e-policy-privacy/

“We are bringing the Administration into people's homes,” says the deputy mayor with responsibility for demographic services, Giusy Iemma. “We want to overcome the distance often perceived between public offices and the community, simplifying procedures and improving access to essential services.”

Managed by the Municipality's Communication Office through the phone number 342 0157646, it will be possible to receive information, clarifications, and updates on:

Registry certificates

Electronic identity card (CIE)

Family status and residence

Changes of residence and domicile

Civil status and electoral services

Toponymy and online forms

The service will be active from Monday to Thursday, from 09:00 to 13:00.

“This is not just about innovation,” concludes Iemma, “but about building a new dialogue between administration and citizens. A Municipality that listens, that simplifies and supports daily life. A city that engages in dialogue, a city that resembles you.”
