Buses and nightlife: project launched aimed at families, young people, and business operators “Let Yourself Be Guided” to safely reach the city’s nightlife venues

Shuttle buses from all over the city to take young people to nightclubs. This is the “Let Yourself Be Guided” project, an initiative promoted by the municipal administration of Catanzaro in collaboration with the municipal company Amc Spa.
The project, mainly aimed at families and young people in the city and beyond, provides for the activation of a free night transport service with direct connections from various city districts to the nightlife venues, mainly located in the marina district.
The initiative was created with the aim of reducing the number of vehicles on the road during weekend nights, with particular attention to the time slot between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, a critical period for the occurrence of numerous accidents.
"Let Yourself Be Guided" is therefore an initiative in which we have strongly believed and invested, and we hope it will be embraced by business operators to whom the call for expressions of interest is addressed, in order to try to limit accidents and above all to give greater peace of mind to families.”
A plan has been developed that provides for round-trip routes at set times, in collaboration with Amc and its management, whom we thank for immediately taking up the challenge.
The shuttle buses will leave at midnight from the various districts of the city of Catanzaro to reach the city’s nightlife spots and will ensure the return home in the early hours of Sunday, starting from 5 a.m.
Through this initiative, the municipal administration, led by Mayor Fiorita, intends to offer a transport service that is also a real educational tool to promote the culture of sustainable mobility and awareness of responsible driving."
